“An outstanding week visiting Schloss Elmau for the first time. I can’t fault a thing—from the welcome to the room, the food, and the friendly staff. It was exceptional. The various spas are particularly noteworthy. The saunas are brilliant, especially the one by the river where you can brave the icy water after warming up. Breakfast is also excellent, as are the many places to have a drink before dinner. Exceptionally civilized. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Looking forward to returning soon!”
